In the pre-school years, the child learns primarily through his own need to be active and his uncanny ability to imitate all that surrounds him. Teachers bring rhythmic activities in an atmosphere of beauty, warmth and harmony to nourish his blossoming creative thinking, upon which all future abstract thought will be built. Simple materials from nature provide the stimulus for creative play, which develops imagination, concentration, coordination, language and number skills that will be called forth in the elementary years.
Parent/Child ProgramOur Parent/Child program provides an environment which offers inspirational support to parents and care givers as they explore the joys and challenges of parenting and nurturing a family. It is our desire to enable families to strengthen themselves through education, reflection, and good conversation. Our morning classes offer a time for play, songs, verses, a snack, and crafts, which reflect the seasons of the year. Through weekly conversations with other parents and a facilitator, you are offered a time for focused attention on your child as they explore their world. Join us in this imaginative purposeful and loving environment. This program is for children 12 mos through 3 years of age.
