Applications are now open for Susquehanna Waldorf School’s Winter Faire!

Winter Faire is a beloved community tradition featuring a festive marketplace of approximately 40 independent artists, makers, designers, and local businesses, along with children’s activities, music, wholesome food, and other seasonal delights.

Held on the same day as Marietta’s annual Candlelight Tour, Winter Faire welcomes visitors from near and far who come to experience the borough’s historic homes and holiday traditions. Susquehanna Waldorf School is a stop on the tour, making Winter Faire a wonderful opportunity to showcase your work while visitors explore our beautifully decorated historic school.

What We're Looking For

We are seeking vendors who offer handmade, locally sourced, artisan, or thoughtfully curated goods that reflect our community’s appreciation for craftsmanship, creativity, quality, sustainability, and thoughtful consumption.

We welcome a wide range of creative work, including:

  • Jewelry and accessories
  • Pottery and ceramics
  • Fiber arts and textiles
  • Woodworking
  • Clothing
  • Toys and children’s goods
  • Artwork and photography
  • Home goods and décor
  • Personal care products
  • Holiday and seasonal items
  • Food and specialty goods
  • Other unique, handcrafted, or thoughtfully curated products

We especially value vendors who offer high-quality, unique products, natural or environmentally conscious materials, a range of price points, and family-friendly offerings.

Our goal is to create a diverse and balanced marketplace where shoppers can discover something special at a variety of price points.

  • Indoor vendor spaces
  • Vendors provide their own table, chairs, and displays
  • No electrical access is available in vendor spaces
  • Wi-Fi is limited; vendors should be prepared to use cellular data for transactions
  • Vendors must be present for the full duration of the Faire
  • The event proceeds rain or shine
  • Vendor fees are non-refundable unless Susquehanna Waldorf School cancels

Setup & Breakdown

Saturday, December 5

11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.

Set up your booth the day before the Faire. Vendor areas will be locked and secured overnight.

Sunday, December 6

8:00–10:00 a.m.

Morning-of setup is also available. All vehicles must be removed from the parking lot by 10:00 a.m.

Breakdown

Beginning at 3:00 p.m.

Breakdown begins immediately following the close of the Faire.

Our parking lot is available for loading and unloading only. Street parking is available but limited.

A Few Things to Know

Accessibility & Historic Building

Winter Faire takes place in a historic school building. Some vendor areas may require navigating stairs, and wheelchair accessibility is limited in certain areas. If you or anyone working at your booth has specific accessibility or mobility needs, please contact us before the event so we can make every reasonable effort to accommodate you.

Caring for Our Historic Building

Please help us care for our historic school building. Vendors may use painter’s tape only; no tacks, nails, or other materials that could damage walls or surfaces are permitted.

Merchandise & Liability

Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise and equipment. Susquehanna Waldorf School is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items.

Our Vendor Community

Winter Faire is a community-centered event, and we are intentional about creating a marketplace that feels welcoming, thoughtful, and aligned with the spirit of the day.

We do not accept applications from or permit the sale of goods or solicitation from Multi-Level Marketing (MLM), network marketing, or corporate direct-sales companies.

We also do not permit vendors to sell items endorsing a specific religion or to conduct activities intended to evangelize, convert, or solicit for a church or other religious organization.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and spaces may fill before the deadline. We will get back to you within two weeks of submitting your application.

Our selection process considers product quality and uniqueness, alignment with the Winter Faire experience, family-friendly offerings, and variety and balance among vendors.

    Winter Faire Vendor Agreement By submitting this application, I acknowledge and agree to the following terms: Vendor Selection: Winter Faire is a curated marketplace featuring independent artists, makers, designers, and local businesses offering handcrafted, unique, locally sourced, or thoughtfully curated products. Submitting an application does not guarantee acceptance. Susquehanna Waldorf School reserves the right to accept or decline applications based on available space, product offerings, and the overall balance and fit of the marketplace. MLM & Direct Sales Exclusion: We do not accept applications from, or permit the sale of goods or solicitation from, Multi-Level Marketing (MLM), network marketing, or corporate direct-sales companies. This includes, but is not limited to, companies such as LuLaRoe, Scentsy, Color Street, Pampered Chef, Arbonne, and Mary Kay. Religious Solicitation: We do not permit vendors to sell items endorsing a specific religion or to conduct activities intended to evangelize, convert, or solicit on behalf of a church or other religious organization. Vendor Responsibilities: Vendors are responsible for providing their own table, chairs, displays, and payment processing equipment. Vendors agree to operate in a safe, courteous, and professional manner and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Vendors are responsible for obtaining any licenses, permits, insurance, or other requirements applicable to their business or products. Building & Property: Vendors agree to follow all SWS building guidelines, including using painter's tape only and not using tacks, nails, or other materials that may damage school property. Vendors are responsible for their own merchandise and equipment. Susquehanna Waldorf School is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged items. Vendor Fee & Attendance: The vendor fee is $60 per approved vendor space and is non-refundable, except in the event that Susquehanna Waldorf School cancels Winter Faire. Accepted vendors agree to be present and staffed for the full duration of Winter Faire, from 11:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 6, 2026. Photography & Promotional Use: During Winter Faire, vendors and their merchandise may be photographed or recorded by or on behalf of Susquehanna Waldorf School. By participating, vendors grant SWS permission to use such photographs, video, and other audio-visual materials for school-related promotional, marketing, advertising, and educational purposes without compensation.
