Admissions Process
Overview & Timeline

susquehanna.org, 717-426-4506 x224. - Apply on our website. Student academic records will be requested (if applicable). $130 non-refundable application fee. Please note, for students returning and or/ reapplying to SWS after a period two or more years, a supplemental application and $50 fee are required. Please contact Liz Pargament (liz.pargament@susquehanna.org
) for more information. - The application is reviewed by the Admissions Committee.
- Parent/caregiver meeting with a teacher. Grades families have a parent meeting after the student visit.
- Stepping Stone students visit a class briefly with a parent/ caregiver. Mixed-Age Kindergarten students independently attend a morning visit. Grades students visit independently for 3-5 full days. During this visit, rising 1st grade and older students also complete a developmental observation wtih the Resource Coordinator.
- Decision for acceptance is made by the Class Teacher and Admissions Committee, with input from the Subject Teachers (for Grades).
- Enrollment & Tuition Agreement is sent to parent/caregiver through the FACTS Family Portal and must be completed within 10 days of receipt. A non-refundable $250 deposit is due at this time and is applied to annual tuition.
- Upon enrolling, a home visit is scheduled by the Class Teacher.
