Spring 2023 Pilot Program – OPEN

Ages: 4 – 6 years old (approximately)

Dates/ Times:

Visiting Day (registration required): Friday, April 21st

Spring Program: Fridays, May 5th – May 19th, 8:15am – 12pm (noon)

SWS mixed-age kindergarten students spend every Friday exploring the natural world at a local park in Marietta, PA. Forest Friday students enjoy taking long hikes, building forts and exploring nature’s wonders at a nearby park. Children discover local plant and animal life and celebrate the joys of the world around them. A typical day includes a walk/exploration, imaginative play, story time, and a snack. The day is full of music, singing and movement. This pilot program is open to local homeschool students and children in part-time schooling/childcare.

Application Process:

  1. Register for a visiting day and pay a non-refundable $50 registration free (this will be applied to the total cost if enrolled).
  2. Child attends a visiting day with parent/caregiver.
  3. Notification will be sent via email if accepted.
  4. Pay the remaining balance.

Register by Thursday, April 6th.

Inclement Weather Policy:  In the event of a two-hour delay, Forest Fridays will begin at 10:15 am and run until Noon.
