Forest Fridays for Homeschoolers

Fall Pilot Program – OPEN

Ages: 3 – 6 years old (approximately)

Dates/ Times:

Visiting Days (registration required): Friday, September 16th, Friday, September 23rd, or Friday, September 30th from 9am – 10am

Fall Program: Fridays, October 14th – December 15th, 8:15am – 12pm (noon)

SWS mixed-age kindergarten students spend every Friday exploring the natural world that surrounds our beautiful school in Marietta, PA. Forest Friday students enjoy taking long hikes, building forts and exploring nature’s wonders at a nearby park. Children discover local plant and animal life and celebrate the joys of the world around them. A typical day includes a walk/exploration, imaginative play, story time, and a snack. The day is full of music, singing and movement. This pilot program is open to local homeschool students.

Register for a free visiting day in September to see if we’re a good fit (required in order to register for the program).

Inclement Weather Policy:  In the event of a two-hour delay, Forest Fridays will begin at 10:15 am and run until Noon.
