✨🌲The Susquehanna Waldorf School ❄️Winter Faire ❄️ returns for another season of magic and wonder on Sunday, Dec. 7 from 11 AM to 3 PM.

At SWS, one of our most cherished traditions is the magical transformation of our school into a seasonal wonderland, lovingly created by parents, faculty, and staff each year. Our Faire not only raises essential funds to support our school, but also brings together our community in joyful celebration. 💚

We are thrilled to once again host our Faire alongside the Marietta Restoration Associates Candlelight Tour🕯️, showcasing the beautiful, historic homes of our beloved Marietta. It’s truly a magical day!

Experience the enchantment and joy of Winter Faire, where countless magical activities await:

🎟️Admission is free, and all are welcome! Some activities do require special Winter Faire tickets, which you can purchase ahead of time at our school during the week of December 2, or simply stop by the Welcome Table at Winter Faire to pick them up.

Thank you to all of the parent volunteers who helped transform our school into a stunning winter wonderland. Thank you to SWS parent Amanda Lahr for your beautiful window designs. And a very special thank you to Winterfarm Christmas Tree Farm 🌲 for their continued generosity in donating all of the trees and greenery that make Winter Faire so stunning.

As we step into the winter months here at SWS, we pause and take a moment to savor the slowness of this season, the magic that seems to fill the air. The lights soften and cast a warm glow. 🕯️The smell of soul fills our halls. 🥣Mittens and warm winter coats are hung in the cubbies.🧤 There is a stillness, a call to soften and slow. A reminder to carry the light within as we step into darker days.

We wish you warmth and light as we step into the winter months, and remind you to hold tight to the magic this season brings. ✨🌲

This year’s baskets just may be the best yet, with something for everyone from your favorite foodie, to devoted pet parents, to wellness enthusiasts, and more! Take a look at all of the carefully curated baskets below & place your bid today! 🧺

Start bidding now until ⏰ 3 p.m. on 🗓️ Sunday, December 7th!

Baskets can be viewed in Williams Hall next week and during the Faire. Winners can pick up their baskets at the end Winter Faire or throughout the following week at school.

This year our families have the opportunity to win a dream getaway to Yellowstone National Park 🗺️🚙🌲 or bring home your very own indoor garden oasis! 🌱🍄🪴

Raffle tickets will be available at the school’s Front Desk beginning 🗓️ Tuesday, December 2nd, and at ❄️Winter Faire❄️ itself (cash, check, credit, and PayPal accepted). Both prize drawings will take place at the conclusion of the Faire at 3 p.m.
