Adventure awaits at SWS!🏞️

During our summer Adventure Camp this week, our campers enjoyed Foraging Week! Our little adventurers set out on a winding walk through our river town of Marietta and discovered a variety of edible plants. 🌱

Guided by our wonderful Ms. Kat, campers learned to make 🪻wildflower syrup, healing salve, foraging books and have been working on building their own flower presses. 🌼 Campers even got to make their own foraging aprons, complete with pressed flowers! It was a beautiful week spent with plant friends. 🌻

A few spaces remain in upcoming Adventure Camp weeks, so there’s still time to join the fun! ☀️

The Susquehanna Waldorf School is seeking a motivated and caring preschool assistant an experienced, compassionate and dedicated Early Childhood Assistant Teacher. The Assistant will work closely with the Lead Teacher to create a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment for young children, following the principles of Waldorf education. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children in a hands-on, creative environment, and is passionate about early childhood development. 🐛

We are looking for a teacher dedicated to Waldorf pedagogy, who will bring a confident, nurturing, and warm classroom presence. 💚

⭐️This is a part-time position, Monday - Thursday.

Our Marigold Stepping Stones class had such fun practicing a German counting game with their little gnome friends - little did they know they were learning a new language! 🍄

In our Early Childhood classrooms, World Language is introduced through games, songs and movement to keep lessons age appropriate and fun!
